“My budget and my money are working towards my actual goals, and I feel very confident that I can do the things that need to be done.”
— Scarlett Ross, Virtual Assistant & Entrepreneur
Now? You want to make it even more resilient, financially supportive, and creatively exciting.
Whether that’s hiring a team, investing in a studio/office, or gaining more freedom and peace in your schedule.
You want a business that pays well and lights 👏🏾 you 👏🏾 up! 👏🏾
The thing is...money’s freaky, right?
Maybe you find yourself sticking your head in the sand. 🫣
“I’ll figure out finances later…when I have more time…” you say.
But weeks turn into months which turn into years.
You hand off your numbers without knowing what it all means. They don’t actually teach you how to manage your money, so you still feel lost. Or worse, maybe the person you hired left you hanging.
A spreadsheet from that person on Instagram here. A finance book and a tip from Mom there. You’re trying and tracking to some extent—but you still have more questions than answers. Taxes, retirement savings, cashflow, etc., all feel super confusing.
Maybe you feel like you’re not the “type of person” who can take control of their finances. Out of sight, out of mind is your go-to… which ends up causing even more money anxiety down the line. “But retirement’s a long way off, right?” 😅
Your parents and friends still barely know what you do for work. Your partner doesn’t truly get it. Your accountant just wants to know your Profit and Loss at the end of the year.
Even if you are buds with other business owners, maybe it’s hard to “admit” what you don’t know about money.
That’s why dealing with business finances can feel like living on a deserted island—with nothing but a volleyball (or your cat) to talk to.
You get stuck in your own head.
It’s your lifeline.
Your livelihood.
Your stamp on the world.
One thing’s for sure. The thing you’re building isn’t “just a little business” or “hobby.”
If I had to place bets, I’d guess…
You want a business that gives you more options—options to travel frequently, be more generous, and enjoy a creative, values-aligned lifestyle
You want to reduce your money anxiety and work through your old finance hang-ups. (Trust me, we all have them.)
You want to connect with other business owners who understand what you're dealing with so you can think out loud about business in an inspiring, shame-free way
You want to ditch the “see what happens” approach and create a solid plan for your money goals—and your business vision!
You wanna know what you need to know about money (and then actually take action on it all this time)
All that 👆🏾 becomes possible when
you have the right money systems
+ a community that gets it
Instead of handing everything off to some old white dude you talk to once a year, it’s time to build the skills you need to stay in control of your money.
All while hanging out with other entrepreneurs who don’t want to choose between building a dream and building wealth. 💸💸💸
That's exactly what you'll get in
Essential Finance Skills so you can implement the must-have money systems that support a profitable creative business
Accountability & Goal Tracking so you take action on your dreams (instead of putting off your numbers yet again)
Supportive Community of women, POC, and LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs who are changing the world—and inspiring you to do the same!
Taught by me!

No more piecemealing, kiddo.
Breadwinner isn’t a boot camp just for learning sake. It’s the financial foundation you need to take your business to the next level, whatever that looks like for you.
With these tools in place, you’ll build a business that gives you options—whether it’s purchasing a new office space, taking more vacations, or treating your family on the reg’.
Own Tax Season: I’ll teach you how the hell taxes work AND how to predict what you’ll owe ahead of time so no more tax surprises. Even better, together you’ll learn what you can write off to reduce your tax bill each year.
Get Legit: Heard rumors about being an S Corp to save on taxes? I’ll help you choose the best legal and tax classification for your income and business structure. Plus, make sure you’re checking all the boxes to get the benefits AND stay compliant!
Learn to Invest: I’ll hold your hand *and share my screen* to show you how to invest your money so it’s working for you. I’ll show you how to start saving for retirement, and debunk confusing terms you’ve heard of like Roth IRA, self employed 401k, and how to check if your strategy is working.
Make Money Feel FUN: I’ll help you create a personal budget that feels funnnn and easy to follow. No more saving every penny for a rainy day, you’ll learn how to treat yourself and trust yourself with your money.
Build Money Habits: Build the skill of looking at and talking about your money with other creative business owners along the same journey. Creatives and women are disempowered because we’ve been left out of money conversations for so long. The Brads and Chads of the world are not smarter- they just have spaces to talk about money. This is yours.
"I don't think I'm charging the right amount of sales tax. Can you help me check?”
“I want to offer a new product. How should I price it?”
“I want to have more income. How can I do that without working more hours?”
Or anything else you're struggling with!

“If you’ve tried to do it alone or tried more traditional methods of getting in touch with your financial health and they’ve frustrated you, I suggest working with Jillian.”
“She truly changed my life. It transformed the financial picture. You’re going to feel supported, taken care of, and seen.”

“I needed someone to teach me how to be my own CFO.”
“Before Jillian, I was working with an accountant who did little to help empower me as a business owner or explain the reasoning behind accounting recommendations. Ultimately, I didn’t understand the reasons for her recommendations and didn't feel confident in the decisions I made. When I sought out Jillian, I needed someone to teach me how to be my own CFO.
Having Jillian’s support, getting systems that worked, and knowing what I needed to do every month helped me achieve my goals, which was amazing. I was able to purchase the building in which our practice is located, and Jillian was an integral part of that success. And we still have savings set aside to pursue future goals like renovations and expansion.
Jillian has this beautiful combination of showing you the skills you need but also being able to look at somebody and say, ‘Hey, it seems like you feel overwhelmed. What’s going on? Do we need to stop and understand that stuck place?’ Her empathy for the anxiety that comes with owning a small business, combined with her knowledge about her field, is incredible. She can support you in changing your relationship to money.”
— Rachel Anne Kieran, Psy. D. | Therapist & Private Practice Owner
“I discovered the accountability and the skills
I learned were definitely worth the money.”
“I’m paying a professional to help me in an area where I definitely need to grow. I discovered the accountability and the skills I learned were definitely worth the money.
When you let someone into your business, you’re being vulnerable, and I didn’t know what kind of responses I would get. But once I met Jillian, she was so supportive, and there’s zero judgment in anything. She really heard what I needed out of it, and she kept track of my goals.
I learned to practice skills with a confident voice. My accounts are up to date. I have very clear goals for each quarter of the upcoming year. I know how to approach my taxes. I know how to flow the money I make into the right places. She helped me with all of that.
The biggest change has been that my budget and my money are working towards my actual goals. And I feel very confident that I can do the things that need to be done. I’ve built a lot of bridges over some of the money resistance or money shame. It’s not perfect, but it's light years from where I started.
Jillian is fantastic and demystifies a lot of the money pieces without making you feel like an idiot.”
— Scarlett Ross, Virtual Assistant/Entrepreneur

Who is this best for?
It’s for entrepreneurs who have had some success with their businesses but are feeling stuck financially, so they want to get better with money as a whole. It’s best for business owners who don’t need tons of one-on-one specific assistance but still thrive with accountability and community. If you have questions about taxes, personal finances, cash flow, hiring, money mindset, or scaling, you’ll love what we cover.
It’s ESPECIALLY for creatives who don’t consider themselves “money people” or “numbers people.”
Can I talk to you first to see if it’s right for me? How do I know if I’m ready?
Is there a certain “level” my business should be at in order for this to be a good fit?
There isn’t a specific level or income bracket you should be in, but it’s best if you’re making a consistent income. If you’ve had a couple of successful years with your business and you want to build on your momentum, it could be a great fit.
We have members from all sorts of industries who are in diverse stages of their business—which is one of the great parts! You get to meet and learn from more than one “type” of entrepreneur. Some people are solo, others are building a team. Some are scaling, some are pivoting. Some sell products, others focus on 1:1 services or 1:many offers. The diversity adds richness to the group because you get to connect with different individuals, lifestyles, backgrounds, and professions to discover what works for you!
What if I hate talking about money?
Then you sound like many of the creatives I support! I know money can be freaky. My ultimate goal is to guide you through it so you feel comfortable, informed, and in control. We’ll work on getting comfy with your numbers so you can make more of a profit with your creativity.
I’m already working with a business coach/accountant. How is this different?
An accountant’s job isn’t to teach you or show you how to set up money systems that work for your brain. You manage THEM. It’s hard to do that if you don’t have your financial foundations in place. Breadwinner gives you a teacher who also happens to be a trained accountant! I’m here to guide you and teach you, not take orders.
When it comes to general business coaching, the focus isn’t on finances. General business coaches and mentors usually aren’t qualified to tell you what’s legal or to get into the dirty deets. They can tell you what they’ve done financially but not what YOU should do. Breadwinner is specifically about building financial systems and working on your money mindset. By getting your finance systems in place, you’ll have the stability you need to flourish in other areas of your business!
I’ve tried money courses before but didn’t follow through. Will this be different?
If I have anything to do with it, it will! You’ll get loads of accountability in Breadwinner, which self-paced courses (and books) don’t provide. When we don’t have someone holding us accountable, it can be SUPER hard to follow through on the things we don’t love doing or the things that feel difficult.
In Breadwinner, each month and quarter I’ll assign tasks to complete—and I’ll hold you to them! Plus, each week, I provide all the reminders and motivation you need in our group chat.
How much time is this going to require?
I’ve designed the program to fit comfortably into a full-time working schedule so it doesn’t feel like this overwhelming THING that’s taking you away from your work and life. I want you to efficiently make progress with your money systems so you can focus on the other parts of your business you love!
There’s a 2-hour group call each month and a 1-hour private coaching call each quarter. (The upgrade option includes a private call each month.) There are also optional 2-hour “Get Shit Done” calls each month. These give you dedicated time to co-work with the group or tackle tasks you’ve been putting off. We👏🏾 love👏🏾 accountability👏🏾
So, if you were to join every call, that’s about 4-5 hours per month, plus any time you spend asking questions and interacting in the Voxer community.
I think my situation might be too complicated for group coaching
If this is hanging you up, let’s talk about it on a discovery call so I can point you in the right direction. The upgrade option (which includes monthly 1:1 calls and a private Voxer chat) could be good for you. Alternatively, Private Coaching might be better, depending on your situation. Let’s talk about it!
Do I need to commit to the full 12 months?
Yep, that timeframe is intentional. 12 months allows for deeper relationship building and growth over our time together. If something isn’t working or a new problem pops up, you have space to adjust and refine with my support. There’s no rush for you to build it all out.
I’m not sure if this is the right time for me. Why should I join now?
The truth is, there’s rarely a perfect time to start something new like this! It always feels like a leap. The sooner you begin, the sooner you start to make progress.
I've personally experienced huge shifts in my business from being in a community with other business owners. We often need more support than we think as we grow. Let BREADWINNER be that support for you!
I also chat with everyone first to make sure this is a good fit for you. Book a discovery call.
